I Have A Jewel

I have a jewel that I want to keep forever. It is the most important thing to me and I treat it different then any other thing in my life. I do not let others handle it; I keep it safe from outsiders. While I keep it shielded and protected from the elements and containments of the world I am happy to share its beauty with others. Wars have been fought for it and kingdoms have been given for it. It will never be abused by any, but envied by most and sought by the wise.

For it to keep its splendor I don’t expose it to the elements any more then I have to. But the wears and tears of life does grind on it. But is doesn’t make it common nor ordinary just keeps it shiny and brightened to a magnificent shine. If a time does come when tarnish appears it is lovingly polished making it gleam like new. There is no option to buy a new jewel so much love and care must be given to the one I have. And I have promised to be true and loving to it, to care and never forsake it.

There is specialness to it because of what I have made it for myself and the other special person in my life. Because of the care I have given my jewel it grows and takes on new facets in its personality. Becoming more beautiful and precious as time goes by my jewel protects me and mine. It is as strong as iron making it a fortress in storms yet as vulnerable as butterfly wings. Beauty and strength are combined together making all catch their breath when viewing the jewel and its uniqueness and its worthiness.

Would you like a jewel? They are available to any two people who would like to join their lives together. Your jewel can become just as special and worthy to you as mine is to me. You have to shield and protect it, spend time shining it and loving it. You can make it unique, strong and beautiful but you can’t throw it to the side and then come back and expect it to keep its strength nor beauty. Keep it in the palm of your hand keeping it safe. Let it grow into the beautiful and valuable jewel that it can become and you will have a jewel that will be worth more then millions of diamonds and rubies.
